Games for every day Joes and Janes, all day, like it's your job. Updated every Mon - Wed - Fri
If you are a current user of Object Dock Plus and are using the beta I would like to encourage you to get the current listed alpha through Impluse.

One of several issues that was considered is the Start Menu troubles.

The version number is 1.97k[a]a.024

Remember this is an alpha/beta build and is still use at your own risk. This update is only available through Impulse and for Plus owners.

If you don't have Impluse get it here: http://storage.stardock.com/files/Impulse_setup.exe

Cheers

getting the same message myself

I went to here WWW Link and had my serial number sent and the new one was accepted. Looks like the format of the serial number changed.

Hold that thought I was able to find that error as well.... please stand by.

<add on> Manually updating the serial number in Impluse seems to fix the trouble. Make sure that you don't have the old format ODP-XXXXX.... serial number. If you do please go to Stardock.com/support and enter in your email address there. After that is confirmed the system will forward you a updated account of all your account info.

I did get that message as well, but after I entered the correct serial from one of the Stardock-emails into Impulse, OD would update without a problem.

Strange is that now after a reboot, Impulse shows yet again the old, incorrect serial number.

I had Impulse update close and re open then DL objectdock 1.91k[a].024 ok on XP
on Mar 20, 2008
I downloaded it when I downloaded Impulse the first day. I'm on an XP Home SP2 32bit system. I didn't have any problems with the start menu before. What are some of the other things I should look for?

There was a decent list of small updates but nothing has been written down yet. Nothing was written down for these bug fixes since it is an informal beta. I just wanted everyone who likes testing out the betas to give this a try and let us know of any signs of impending doom. Should you have small issues please let us know here. If some catastrophic event occurs (not likely at all) then we would also want to know about it at support@stardock.com as well as here.

Thanks in advance!

Will do.

The version number is 1.97k[a]a.024

Is that correct? I see 1.91k[a].024, but not 1.97..... I assume it's just a typo, but want to confirm.

Yea I got 1.91 too. I wish the WB update was fixed. I'm afraid I'm going to click on it.

Hey AL, I beat you to it. I downloaded WB before I looked at the version, DOH. I just went back into SDC and got the more current one.
