All MyColors free themes and all Stardock freeware now have a registration built into them. Here is how it works now:

Go to Impulse, and then to the store. Click on Desktop then choose to 'sort by price'.

You will see Diamond come up as a free download.

Click the free button and then on the next page select 'Add to Impulse'.

Impulse will ask you for your email if you do not have one, or it should prompt you for the one you are logged in with. Either way hit Register or enter your current email and hit register. Impulse will then download Diamond for you while creating your Diamond registry. You will find the free download under MyDesktop. Upon successful completion an email containing download and registration information will be sent to you via the address you have entered.

This is the current answer to the "Free Stuff" questions we have been getting. You will be seeing all manor of free items migrating their way from the normal Impulse windows into the store portion of Impulse. All free MyColor suites will also go to this method of registration as well. If you have any questions please let me know!

How do I register the free green theme?  IT's not on the free list in the store, does show up in My Themes, but asks for registration when I click on" apply".

Same Here. Think green is not on the list in the impulse store. And now asks for registration and will not apply.I assume this will also be added to impulse like diamond?

Same happening here with Think Green as well, worked fine last time i tried to apply it.

I'm having the same situation with the Think Green Update and I personally dislike that individual schemes need to be registered. It's a pain and at least Stardock should make sure everything's ready to go and synced up first if they're going add/update schemes this way so we don't run into these situations.

Think Green should now be showing up in the Impulse store. If you still have troubles after trying to register the free product please contact support@stardock.com with the serial number you have been issued. Please do not post even free item serial numbers in the forums.

The problem I had is that the free Mycolors themes were downloaded and installed when I first started Impulse.  I did have Mycolors as a result of Sins of a Solar Empire.  I got Green, Quest and Diamond as a result of them being shown as a free download within impulse.  I did not register them through the store and have gone back now and was able to do that with Green and Quest.  The Diamond one is not available in the store and I cannot regiater it.  Impulse shows an update to it is available but I cannot install it because I don't have a registration.  Any ideas?

I installed the new Think Green this morning and now the windowblind is all fuzzy/pixelated like some were before the last windowblind update.

I glad to hear the staging is fixed for you guy. Please let me know if anyone still has troubles with the registration/download. Things should be corrected now.

I installed the new Think Green this morning and now the windowblind is all fuzzy/pixelated like some were before the last windowblind update.

Try deleting the theme and then redownloading it. What you are seeing is the encryption. Also if you have WindowBlinds installed make sure that you have updated it as well as MyColors.

Someone HELP! I have been a Object Desktop Ultimate subscriber for many years. I received the email about the free MyColors theme that was available for subscibers "Encounter". I went to Impulse, Desktop and it wasn't listed. I followed all of the directions listed by SeaBass and to no avail. It is not even listed in the Store-Desktops section to even register it. I went to Wincustomize and checked the settings for my registered products and all of my MyColors products have a different registration number than is listed in Impulse. What goes?????? "Encounters is listed in the Wincustomize settings, but the number is not accepted in Impulse for new registrations. Something needs to be straightened out. This is worse than edealing with the CIA.
